I am now living in my tenth decade (October 2022) with hopeful prospects of an eleventh. As an astronomy and physics professor and an observatory director for 50 years, my eyes have been focused on the night sky, exploring from Earth the visible universe. With a lifetime goal of expanding my intellectual boundaries and with a deep-rooted desire to promote exploration of the universe, the Enterprise Flight fits somehow, in an abstract way, my next great adventure.
