I watched Star Trek growing up with my dad. We watched the whole thing. Movies included as a women of African American decent. Her representation was awesome on screen. I can only imagine the way she paved for other Black actresses, also being the first black women to share a interracial kiss on screen too. She was an inspiration for little girls like me, not just beautiful but smart too. may she rest with the stars now…..
