Dear Nichelle Nichols, I am so proud of your legacy as a trailblazer for all of us who come from the African American community! I was a kindergarten student when you first appeared as Lieutenant Uhura on Star Trek and I will never forget how important you are to people like me. I have always believed in the message that Star Trek gave to humanity! It is my prayer that humanity will embrace that future! It would be so wonderful! PS: You were so sexy!!
