As a kid watching Star Trek was very impressive especially the crew and then Nichols as a communications officer was probably one of the best played actor/actresses in the series always on top of it always have the answer searching for the right dialect it was very impressive and brought main stream African-Americans into the fold of TV Gene Roddenberry Star Trek. She was great she was wonderful she was beautiful you couldn’t have Star Trek without her it shaped what we understood is possible
